Ive just had a tin of this, quite dissapointed, even my mother and the mrs tried it and didnt break out in a sweat.
I will report back on the ringpiece tomorrow.lol

Ant 06 June 2011 03:22 PM

I tried some of this last week , it's was incredibly hot for me but no chocolate lava from it :D

J4CKO 06 June 2011 06:51 PM

New curry place opened up near us, they put a menu through and I had been dying to go, with the car eating its own piston it gave me my opportunity to try it, I was eager to go as they did a dish called "Amma Naga" that had a warning that it was so hot, er, no, it was very nice but not very hot, current best is the "Garlic Chilli Chicken" from the Spice Lounge in Hale, comes with a massive hot red chilli on the top and plenty inside, awesome, still some room for more heat but its satisfying enough,

stuart69 06 June 2011 07:19 PM

The hottest curry was from the Blue Elephant ulse walton near chorley,a jalfrezi, feck meeeee ,it had some fresh green chillis on the top,i thought it would be a pushover,it wasnt, had to leave some:brickwall

The next day was terrible, the bog looked like a murder scene:o

A couple of weeks later,i went back and had it again:D just to see if it was as hot,it was:lol1:

Never again:thumb:

Aah good old biohazzard, brings most men to their knees.

I love the stuff, don't know why but it makes my tongue go numb more than hot, i guess i must be getting used to these super sauces.

Stagg heat wise yup tis good, very bland on chilli flavour, it's all heat near enough, if it had just a hint of smoke it would be so much better.

Ah well.

6.4 million scovilles. jesus wept. and so did I. my mouth was on fire for hours, and that was through a tiny, tiny amount. on reflection I should of used a lot less..
theres a 16.5 million scoville additive Ive got my eye on, although I don't think my sphincter would ever forgive me, let alone the missus who I neglected to inform about the added extra.. :D

I had a dish called the alamo in a mexican restaurant not long ago and that was pretty hot although tasty.

Bubba po 06 June 2011 10:19 PM

My wife's bought me a can of the stuff this week, just so as we have something in when neither of us fancies cooking. I'll report back later. :D

Bubba po 06 June 2011 10:20 PM

Anyone seen the tags on this thread? Three attempts at spelling "Dynamite" properly does not indicate a high level of literacy for the SN masseeeev. :D

Bubba po 15 June 2011 05:41 PM

Well, I necked my can tonight (with bread, couldn't wait for rice to cook, lol :D).

Verdict:

Heat -10/10, especially for a canned meal. Great. :norty:

Flavour - 8/10. Pretty good, fairly authentic; nice hit of cumin and chili pepper. :)

Texture - 7/10. Slightly too much sauce, but what was there was nice and thick. Let down by the shaped, coarse-textured "mince". :nono:

Overall rating: If it was a home-cooked chili or from a restaurant, I'd rate it a 6.5; as a tip-it-out-and-warm-it-up standby, it's a solid 9/10 from me. :thumb::notworthy

Finally bought my tin at the weekend but haven't got around to opening it yet, having dental surgery tomorrow, may use it as a pain killer to numb the mouth once the anesthetic wears off !

kingofturds 15 June 2011 06:46 PM

I'm saving this for when my girlfriends brother comes back from uni, if he lives I may try a drop:D

Well almost 7 months since buying it I finally opened it and had it on some jacket spuds with some grated Red Leicester with chilis, Emmental and Cheddar.

Taste - OK 5/10, full of Acme chili powder
Heat - Nothing special as the previous posts lead me to believe :nono:, I've had hotter Biriyani's 4/10

Clowns Mouth the morning after ? - No, not even the opportunity to crop spray the office.

A bit of a let down but a handy snack to have in the cupboard all the same and it will be replaced :D

I think that the stag dynamite chilli has had its heat button turned down a bit, a few years ago i found it hot nowadays not so much, same thing happen to the bombay bad boy pot noodle sauce sachet.

Except for the person on the receiving end.

Im a big chilli head, but i wouldn't go near pure cap.
