Cheap boost gauges

I need to get a boost gauge to check that shortening my actuator rod by one turn hasn't affected the boost to dangerous levels.

To this end, and being a bit skinto with it coming up to crimbo, i was considering a £20 / 30 one until I can afford something a bit better and more permanent.

The question is, will the cheap gauge be 'relatively' accurate for the prupose I need it for. It's only got to last a month or two.

Short answer? No.

Well that's a bummer lol

Was expecting that answer to be fair tho. Are those stepper motor gauges on eblag any good? Seem to be generic versions of the depo gauges

the prosport gauges from scoobyworld are supposed to be quite good i think? Reasonably priced as well

I have Defis. When the car is mapped by Bob Rawle, he brings his own boost gauge because it is more accurate than Defis.

I think that says it all, really.

Cheapo ones to look at. Get an expensive accurate one for any measurement.

Just bought a race tech one.

Checked everywhere online, seems the prosport, depo, autogauge, autometer, race tech plus many more are all made by the same firm and are identical but the logo!
