Best Induction kit for 02 WRX

I have a 2002 WRX sedan currently with the standard air filter and housing on.
I am after a induction kit that will make it sound louder :)
which is the best recommendation? am i right thinking that a K&N panel filter will not change the sound at all so a full induction kit will be needed?

thanks

I have a Green Cotton Panel filter in mine, to be honest, the rumble comes from the exhaust system. The induction kit that was on my car originally when I bought it increased the kneeling bus noise and nothing beefy. It came off asap.

The best recommendation to give you at the moment is not to fit an induction kit. It is not remotely necessary or advantageous at the power level you are running and will cause knock-on issues (like mass airflow measurement accuracy) that you will have to spend significant extra money to correct.

Fitting a quality aftermarket panel filter will cause a subtle increase in induction noise. The other recommendation to make is that modifying your car to make it "make more noise" isn't really an optimal path to follow, especially on the induction side.

By far the easiest way to get it on a standard WRX is to fit an aftermarket rear exhaust.
