Just been looking through threads myself to see what other people think. The handbook states 85W for -30degC through +50degC with capacity of 3.5 litres (I assume that is gearbox and rear diff combined. Several guys on here suggest a synthetic 75W90 gear oil. Yet to make an informed decision as to what I will use but as it will be in for the next 30,000 miles quality is important.

Hi

If you want to go for the best, the Millers CRX 75w-90 NT, Motul Gear 300, Redline MT90(gearbox)/Redline 75w-90 GL5 (diff) and Millers TRX are ideal. The Castrol Syntrax, Motul Motylgear and Fuchs Gear Syn are all decent alternatives.

The gearbox takes 3.5L and the diff 0.8L.

Cheers

Tim
