Ferrari theme park

Anyone keen on going?

Looks like a white elephant to me? Oil money put to good use!

I'd love to go but Abu whatsit needs to be a hell of a lot more appealing before I'd consider going :)

likewise my friend, that would be a great weekend.

Apart from the F1 simulator, it's basically a normal theme park, painted Red, and a few thousand Ferrari badges stuck on every surface.

And probably the biggest Ferrari merchandise shop in the world.

I'll pass thanks

So how much does it cost to get in?

I have a horrible feeling that it could also be the most costly theme park....4 star restaurants for lunch!? Its bad enough trying to buy a burger in Alton Towers for a reasonable price

Leslie 28 October 2010 01:27 PM

I reckon I would enjoy most of all that.

Les :)

general ticket £40
premium ticket £65

dont know if that gets you on any of the rides though

mamoon2 28 October 2010 01:43 PM

Looks a bit poor to me

Luminous 28 October 2010 01:45 PM

Hmm, initial entry costs are not too bad. But as you say, you don't know what you are getting for that. If you have to start paying for each ride on top of that its going to get very expensive very quickly!!

I will give you an update later next week as I will be in Abu Dhabi for an Oil Exhibition all week and plan on going at least one evening.

BOB.T 29 October 2010 01:41 AM

Is it just me that's wondering wtf an Oil Exhibition is? :Suspiciou

ADIPEC (the Oil Exhibition) I am attending is about the 3rd largest annual conference/technology display after Houston's OTC and Aberdeen's Offshore Europe event.

In principle these are the oilfield equivalents of the major annual Motor Show events .
