Feels more like 6 today :( this place needs to change, change is constant everywhere else so why not here?

mamoon2 26 October 2010 12:32 PM

Subaru is a dying brand. It is no longer the exciting rally slag it used to be and I think we are finding that the userbase here is mainly made up of people who joined in the good old days.

Scoobynet is still a good place to be and can be a great source of information and advice. There are some good characters here too, just not as many as back in 2004-2006.

I remember when you could read the top (newest) thread and by the time you had finished reading a couple of posts the thread would be near the bottom of the page because it was that lively.

HTH :)

it was when people we signing up to say what a nice bunch we were for organising the scoob day for the toddler in Germany (or wherever it was).

After that it was back down to the 25 regulars :D

StickyMicky 26 October 2010 01:21 PM

The community once spoke.

pslewis 26 October 2010 01:27 PM

It was good then ... but times move on I guess?

The scooby isn't selling in any numbers anymore and those who have bought the old ones cannot spell or use a keyboard ... those who do actually do attempt it cannot spell or use grammar.

So, it gets less educated, less challenging ... but I still return and keep the home fires burning.

When you can be threatened with a lifetime ban for discussing Flocking, then the place is on its last legs IMO :(

DCI Gene Hunt 26 October 2010 01:36 PM

Maybe we need to be the new vanguard - taking spelling and grammar to the retarded "General" users that seem to be moving in of late - in the vain (and somewhat slim) hope that one day they'll become like us, intellectual gods! where no subject, challenge or question no matter how impossible goes unanswered....

Either that or change this place to Chavnet

ChefDude 26 October 2010 01:37 PM

These threads have been a constant since I joined.

It's just in the old days they were so much better :thumb:
