fmic with a td05 ???
 
hey ,, i got a wrx version 2 jdm classic with a td05 turbo and i need a new intercooler for the car just wounderin if i put a fmic on will it cause much lag or shall i stick with a tmic and which ones are the best to go for ?? i am aiming round 350ish bhp for the car ,, also i need new headers shall i go for s/s or ported ???

A FMIC will inevitably cause some change in throttle response due to the increase in pipework length, some notice it, some don't.

You'll be limited on fitting a decent TMIC on a V2 and may be better off with a FMIC kit.

GT Spec headers + uppipe work well with a TD05 equipped car.

you will need a helluva lot more than a FMIC and headers for 350 mate.

i have a 96 wrx version 2, i have done the awesome task and fitted a version 7 tmic to it, fills the gap under the bonnet too, no difference in anything just looks better, and before we ask it was all done for free cus i won a bet
