Better driving with boost gauge?

Will a boost gauge improve your driving?

I wondering if being able to see what boost your using will help you use the turbo more efficiency. Should this help with fuel and gear changes, etc?

As i said, it is just info. In the same way your temp gauge tells you the coolant is hot or cold or your fuel gauge tells you the tank is full or empty.
It will show max/min vacuum and boost pressure. This will help if you have a problem in the system at any time, ie if the car is feeling a little less powerful one day, a quick look at the boost gauge lets you know if the car is making its boost target. Without the boost gauge you have no idea what you usually boost to and therefor nothing to refer to should a problem arise.

An absolute necessity in a turbo'd car, along with a oil temp and/or pressure gauge.:)

as above but more importantly it tells you if you are overboosting,not sure on scoobies but on pulsars there is a vacuum pipe that can come off giving you unlimited boost which is amazing for the 30 seconds your engine will last before it goes bang.

Does boost not drop when you hit peak boost and carry on going up in RPM?

Have to disagree, it does help.
I had my other half using my car for a while, told her to stay off boost when neccesary. the only way that would make sense to someone that doesn't know about cars, is to make sure "that needle" doens't go above the 0 much.
Also, when I'm motorway driving, I avoid any boost once rolling.
