What paint for engine block?

I'm getting to the build up phase of my latest project and am in the process of tidying up the engine. Does anybody have recommendations for a long lasting engine paint? I just want it to stay silver, not corrode in the future. I'm not running power steering or a/c pumps so the block is much more visible than normal. I've done my gearbox (porsche G50) in wheel silver but am more concerned with the higher temperatures in the engine

Couple of pics:

Any personal experience of specific paints would be greatly appreaciated!

Cheers,
Rich

por15 ,just used it myself ,brilliant stuff , goes rock hard once heated, if you look in projects in the ra forum you can see my project with pics of my painted engine

Thanks for the reply, I've just been out and treated it all with metal ready (already used some other POR products in the past) so it can all dry out nicely before the paint comes in the post! I'll be going for some black crakle paint for the intake manifold and cam covers too...

I'd watch what paint your using for the block as the ej20 gets very hot And certain paints will keep that heat in the block which ain't good!!

It'll only be a very thin coating, bound to be better than the insulation all the oily furry corrosion was giving it!

Haha yeah true, it looks good in the pics , should have a nice power to weight aswell !
