arghhhhhh !!!!!!!!!!!

took of the back bit with the seal in it, took out the centre diff and the drop down gear,,,,, try to seperate the centre and its like something is stopping it from comming apart ( where the sensors are on that side)

anyone help me as i wanna strip this box and decide what im gonna do tomorrow

this is a V3 sti box with a ty52 box in it if it helps but the ty54 will be next to be stripped pmsl

have you taken the 10mm bolt from the selector rod ?

erm,,,,,, where is that..... as i took the split pin and drift out for the UJ

used 14mil apart from 2 nuts at the bottom of the end of the diff to take off a bracket

take off the inspection cover on the top of the box, you should see it,

its empty where the cover is im sure, ive got the centre diff and shaft out already if that makes sence,,,,, BUT ill give it another crack just incase im being blonde and its in there

ah maybe were getting are wires crossed, so you have removed the transfer case, centre diff and drop gears then ? what exactly cant you remove ?

The transfer case i cant seperate from the main front casing, the centre diff and drop gears slide out of the transfer case

im gonna give it another go in a hour or so

ignore me,,,,, im a idiot

its now stripped, think the diff bearings are fooked which was the whine but thinking maybe all need to be changed
