ok- after 2 hrs flying my kite i am to knackered to find the original post i started on this so heres a new one!

my kite is AMAZING- i weigh 17 st and in a 10-20mph wind this thing has just pulled me round a field like i was tied to the back of a car....my bro (14 st) had a go and was gettin launched into the air!!!!

if you are looking for a mad hobby/exercise/extreme sport- buy one of these- i had ppl videoing me it was so mad!!!

it wasn't me videoing...it was just amazed passers by! i will get some pics soon though.

as to what size kite to buy... i was worried that a 4m would be to small but in yesterdays wind (nothing special, just a normal british windy day) it was mad. on a calm day it might be better.

best thing to do is to get a variety of kites for different winds (which i will do now but i didnt want to commit to until i tried it)

good source of info is the flexifoil BBS

i wouldnt get any bigger than 4m till you start using it for a traction sport buggying or mountain boarding there a bit too powerful
a quiver of kites this is where it gets a bit pricey,i can recommend the 2m blade 2 .this is the one i fly the most and picks up good speed
remember these are no good to learn to kiteboard youll need a quiver of inflatables blah blah
