insurance new age vs classic?
 
prob a stupid question.. but is a bugeye or blobeye wrx cheaper to insure then a classic wrx?? any ideas... put it this way last year it was 600 for me... then the renewal this year is 1600 .. but got it down to 1200

UK classics were group 17, all others are, afaik, group 20, so will be similar, I believe.

I got cheaper on a bug WRX than a classic, dont know why could be because they have more safety features. I'm 24 aswell tho.

Classics - group 17 D, WRX or WRX STi group 20.

My classic will be costing me £2200 to insure this year.

Insurance just seems to have gone through the roof. I'm 28 8yrs no claims and mine went up from £450 last year to £959 this. Thats on a MY99 UK Wagon.

Yep.. I'm in the same boat with my work van. £320.00 last year, the going rate this year is around £640.00. :cuckoo:

I'm with a plan, last year my classic cost 1700 ish... Changed her and got an 04 blob eye and my renewal is 1400. Very happy 26 yr old 6 points and 7yr ncb!
