Newbie saying hello

Hello everyone. After 8 years of driving and only ever owning Fords I've made the jump to something a bit different. After a change of jobs I no longer use motorways and now use country roads so it's out with the oil burner and in with 55 reg Impreza WRX (2.5 engine).
I'm amazingly happy with the car, I can't describe how superb it is but I suppose you lot already know lol.
Car is booked in for a remap with Duncan from Racedynamix on sunday and I think the mods will then stop until after winter.
I'm looking at changing the head unit though, I'd ideally like a double din that matches the silver plastic on the dash and must be ipod/iphone compatable, any ideas?
Cheers, a happy Subaru owner, Dan :)

welcome to scoobynet mate and welcome to impreza ownership :thumb: hope you have deep pockets :lol1:

Lol, not too deep but should be deep enough. As well as the job change I've also given up stock car racing so I'm hoping the budget I had for that will cover the extra needed for the Impreza.

The Impreza, not the best picture but it's the only one I have at the minute.

I agree, got my eye on a set of Prodrive 18" multispokes in anthracite, don't think the good missus will let me spend best part of £1500 on wheels and tyres though :( now she has found out I'll be lucky to get 250 miles from £50 of super lol.
On the plus side though, went along to the rolling road with a mate today and got 252.8 bhp and 270.1 lb ft, well pleased with that. Can't wait until Duncan has worked his magic.
