hi i have just become the new owner of a 1994 wrx import, ths is running fine apart from the fact it's not producing any boost, i have noticed the dump valve has been blocked off but apart from that everything seem's to be ok. Would be very greatful of any help

i think it should produce boost even if the dump valve is blocked off,as the turbo produces the boost via the actuator,so if the actuator is faulty it wont produce boost or a faulty boost soloniod,were are u based.is the check engine light flashing up when car is runing.

the dump valve is there to reduce lag inbetween gear changes

How do you know it's not making any boost? Gauge fitted?
