74F is Sonic Blue which I'm sure the 22B was destined to be........legend has it after the arch work it would not fit into the cradles for "normal" painting and they were painted outwith the factory.

I've seen a couple of 22B's and to me they look a little more "purple" than the sonic blue of the P1 and STi of the period .......

I guess 22B.com would be the best place to post :)

74f but theres 2shades of it

Just one shade of 74f, people mix reddish blue up with sonic blue, you may find some minor differences due to weathering or original paint make up (hence why your touch up pens are from certain batches of paint, but you get that with every car tbh), park a load up together and you wont be able to tell the difference ;)

Nope- there is 2 or 3 different shade for definate.....went through Subaru for each when getting the 22B's side skirt resprayed and even then we had to do about 6 different variations to get it EXACT......it's a nightmare.....

Nope there is one shade of 74F (or should I say, 1 colour of 74F ;)) read what I put, batches of any paint can vary slightly due to the mix of it.
When I had my first MY00, they had a 22B JDM in, park them next to each other and there was no visible difference in colour, 10 years later there probably would be, polishing and weathering will change the colour slightly, hence why they do paint mixers/touch up pens for certain years from the same batch of paint ;)
