Advice needed about a company
I am thinking of buying some products from www.alibaba.com. I contacted them but the company I will be ordering with is www.thevisakm.com. As i am spending over £3000 is there anyway of finding out if these companies are legit as they based in India, especially www.thevisakm.com?

Buyer beware - always! Look to what sort of comeback you will have if there is a problem with receiving the goods or the good not being what you expect. Also what you are buying may be counterfeit/poor quality copies of what you want. Also do not be drawn into a sense of comfort by a well made and presented website. We used to 'offshore' website design to India because of the reasonable quality and a cheapo price. Not particularly creative but able to produce working and well presented sites. |

This is what I am ordering. I have some that look excactly the same for about half the price that I got from the UK. I need some more but can't find them in the UK. |
Contact a shipping company who will be able to handle everything for you including insurance incase your goods don't turn up etc...
I used Arends Shipping who were very helpful and will handle everything |
Mamoon - How do they work, do they contact the seller on my behalf? I've emailed the seller and he wants me to pay him £3000. Would I pay this £3k directly to Arends?

is this a continual thing you will be doing?
Fly there sort it out , fly back job done :thumb: that's what I do, and so far (touch wood) have only lost about £1k and I do a lot of similar sort of business, I lost this money intentionally so as to fix a problem. is the £3k a deposit or down payment? whats what? how many cubics of stuff? |
It's not a continual thing and flying to India isn't an option. The £3000 is full payment for the items. I haven't a clue how many cubics but I require 25 candelabras of these http://thevis.tradeindia.com/Exporte...e-Holders.html and 25 similiar ones.
