Anybody know a good place that will install and set this up for you?

I am quite interested.

BTW - anybody see the 22B spoiler at UPAUTO's website looked great and good price. Phoned and spoke to the manager this morning and he seemed very helpful.

IIRC, these units allow you to tweak the standard ECU's map for fueling and boost level.

The LINK is a complete replacement ECU, so you have complete control over the fueling and timing and boost levels (within the LINK's capabilities). The Apexi units you mention don't allow seperate control of timing, AFAIK. You should be able to gain more from a properly setup LINK as it doesn't limit you to tweaking the standard ECU's map to allow a bit more boost.

Of course, if it's flashing lights you want, and the LambdaLink and KnockLink modules aren't enough, than go for a MoTeC dashboard and ECU... then you can even get a "Game Over" message on the dash when you turn the engine off. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif

Anyway, when you get an installed price for the Apexi stuff, I would have a chat with BRD (LINK ECU) and PowerStation (Unichip piggyback ECU (allows control of fuel AND TIMING)) before splashing the cash on the flashy graphics.

APEXi also do a full fuel/ignition timing computer called the Power FC which is the unit I would go for if I were in the market for ECU mods. You can also buy an optional boost controller which it links up to to control boost as well as a hand held optional power FC commander to program the ecu. It's not cheap at £800+ though for the Power FC.

Option motorsport are on 01327 858 555 -Nana I'm sure he'll be able to tell you more about the Power FC!
