Does anyone know the best way to remove tar spots from alloys or even the paint work for that matter

Autoglym - tar removing liquid

leave on for a few minutes & it just wipes off

Been using it for years!!!

Autoglym Intensive Tar Remover. Just remember to polish the area after wards.

best and 'safest' is good old white spirit...can use it on paintwork as well, totaly harmeless and non-abrasive (smells good too)...

Autoglym Tar Remover, by far.

Have had car repeatedly splattered by builders doing roof works nearby, so I've had lots of chance to experiment
