All these scam adverts contain the same line...

!!! Please e-mail me directly at TheresaLopps344@hotmail.com because if you will e-mail me through PH your messages will go to my spam folder and they will be automatically deleted. Thanks !!!

alcazar 03 October 2010 01:57 PM

And what happens when you do?

fozi.g 03 October 2010 02:08 PM

its all a scam. never respond to an advert that doesn't have a telephone number or an email that goes through the selling hub...ie; pistonheads, autotrader etc.
im sure some people will also put their own emails which is cool.

as they say if it sounds too good to be true it usually is.

these will be one of those in which they tell you that the owner is out the country and so is the car but the car is A1. send a deposit. they'll send you the car. inspect it and if your happy pay the balance.....

this might fool a few people but tbh he could sell it within the trade and get more money, why would he even bother with selling it on the open market.

if it sounds too good to be true.....

someone should make contact for a laugh...

fozi.g 03 October 2010 02:14 PM

ok so i dialed the number and surprise surprise the numbers dead!!!!

alcazar 03 October 2010 03:14 PM

I see it's a hotmail addy. Tried an e-mail?

sean95wrx 03 October 2010 03:33 PM

i seen a similar ad last weekend on PH for an 02 sti going for £3500, phoned the number and it didn't work so email and got this replyHi,

The car is still available for sale,it is in perfect condition in and out,100% HPI clear with a certificate to confirm, full service history.
I just got married and moved with my Italian husband in Milan,Italy.I took the car with me so the car is currently here.
I can`t use it in Italy because it has the wheel on the right side and it would also cost me too much to register it here.
It is still registered in the UK and since I have absolutely no use for it I am looking for a fast sale( this is why the low asking price)
I can ship the car from here directly to your home address and I am also willing to cover all delivery expenses.
I look forward to your reply
Regards
Jessica
