Jdm blobeye no contest (assuming you're talking sti). Unless you only want it for 'classic status'

Yes I'm talking about an sti, but why the blob and not the type r?
|
Depends what you wnat it for IMO.
If it is to be your every day car I would go for the JDM blob, if it is as a fun/weekend car then the Type R it is. |
Just a better car all round. And that is a big compliment as the type r is the best of the classics - think the only classic I would have above the JDM blob is a 22B.

Twin scroll engine, stronger engines (fully revised over the open deck classic v6 car), stronger gearbox, clutch, brakes, better handling, A-DCCD unless you get a KL pov spec blob STI, refined and good fun :D (and I own one of each ;))

Think I need to have a drive in a jdm blob to see how it compares to my type r, I love it to bits, looks and drive of it but have always loved the blobeye also.

i say jdm blob but my05 if you can stretch to it. The improvements are worth it. Or get a spec c if just a weekend toy.
|
It's an 05 plate im looking at, what changed on the 04 to the 05 ?
|
wider track improved dccda larger hubs improved dash layout and interior believe a few engine differences as well as an improved intercooler. Sure someone on here will have all the details but i believe heads and cams are standardised to same as spec c as well.
