The new Evo thumped through the letter box this morning.

Lead story is the Clio Cup. Still 172bhp but no air-con, xenon lights, side airbags or spare to save weight (down from 1030kg to 950kg). No ABS either! :eek: Revised suspension setup with a wider track and a slightly lower ride height. Available in Modial Blue only. Best of all, only £13,000! :)

Next story is the Alfa 147 GTA which will get the 250bhp 3.2 V6 from the 156 GTA. :eek: Expected 0-60 is under six seconds (hello traction control) and run out at 155mph. Six speed manual or Selespeed sequential. Price is marked around £23,000. Where can I book me test drive? Due out early 2003.

hehehe....add to that the following:

- late 2002 Mini Cooper-S Works, 200hp, Brembos, around 1150kg

- late 2002 Ford Focus RS, 220hp, lots of performance kit, 1250kg or so

- 2003 BMW 1-series M, RWD, 250hp+

- 2002/03 Peugeot 206/307 RC (the pseudo-rallie versions)
