6 pot front brakes? I see 4
|
Mmmm??? Thats what i was told when i bought the car and ive receipt for the brake purchase too!
I may be wrong and may have been mislead.. Thanks for pointing that out Does anyone else have a thought??? Cheers |
Here is what they would look like if you had 6, you have the STi standard 4 pots. Also your seats look like the US WRX seats, not sure what those would come in over here

They are 4 pot brembos off a newage sti mate not 6 pots
Also as far as know the UK300 was a limited run and only available in the world rally blue not silver, I think you have a wrx that has undergone a few subtle mods eg the sti brakes and then has had the UK300 rear spoiler and morrette head lights. Looks a nice car and spec though so best of luck with the sale |

i'd agree with steve and say it looks ALOT more like a WRX then STi
|
Thanks for the info

Surprised to be honest mate, Subaru using a car that looks nothing like he actual model as a demo car, even to the point that the seats and door cards are STD wrx items and not the UK300 design. For me it really looks as if it were a wrx that has had brakes, intercooler and spray, lights, spoiler fitted.
Please i am not knocking the car as it's a very nice spec and looks very clean but I would suggest you get a scan or take a photo of the document that has the proof and pop that in your ad, as most enthusiast on here will probably have a similar opinion to myself and anyone who is looking for one such as the average Joe will be under the impression all uk300 were in blue and will think you are trying a blag as in 6/7 years of ownership inhale never seen anything other then blue uk300's. So pop the picture of the documentation and also the chassis code as that will prove to any potential buyers that it is what you say it is. Best of luck with the sale as it looks a very tidy car |
Yes stevie1982 i will do that tomorrow evening hopefully tuesday at the latest all my documentation is at my work . But yes at least that way like you say people can see its the deal.
Thanks again |
I think Steve is on the money with his comments....BTW the seats are not from a bugeye WRX but from a blobeye WRX.
|
Well guys you are all CORRECT.. We have just done thorough checks and its now All updated now!
Many thanks for your input and thoughts and thankyou all for taking the time to highlight the inaccuracies. |
On the HPI GOLD report it has come back as
MODEL: IMPREZA (44S) WRX TURBO AWD Does this mean anything or is this just standard WRX info. Thanks again |
as said mate it is a standard UK WRX, with lots of extras
if i were you i would delete the information in the add and re do a new one as any potential buyers may now be put off. also your header title still states PRODRIVE STI which it is not. email the moderators and i am sure they will remove the actual post for you and the re advertise it with a fresh post something like 51 Plate with STI extras - Thousands spent - STI PERFORMANCE Also mate not offence meant but £7250 for a wrx in my opinion is a little high even with the extras you are banking in true STI money which are much better base cars engine and drive train then the wrx (IMO) i would of thought uits worth more like 5.5k being a wrx. any how best of luck with the sale steve |
p.s also remove the SUBARU DEMO bit out as i for sure would not want to buy a car that has been used as a demo car and had hundreds of people turn up and nail the ****e out of the car then give the keys back and say - umm let me think about it -
just food for thought |
