Did anyone see the fight tonight? Thought he did good to hang in there for five rounds, took some big hits. Although the real champ showed though in the final rounds. Hard fight to judge, fair play for them taking the challenge:thumb:

I saw this live. He did more than hold his own. First 2 rounds were his. He made the mistake of letting his guard down and getting clobbered by a few good knees which shook him.

Another day, it could have gone the other way. It was not the destruction that was predicted.

i was quite impressed with the fight,he did take a few good knees but he did have the first 2 rounds,i enjoyed it

Yea its no UFC but it i thought it was ok. He definately had the first two rounds, came out really strong but I must admit when he was messing around letting his gaurd down i was praying for Tom to knock him out, can't stand cocky fighters, i know its all part of it but they just look stupid.
Now for his career???

i was hoping he was gonna get a good smash from watson,
i got the impression that watson was expecting a lot from alex

I was actually pleased to see it NOT go the way predicted. I think Watson either knew deep inside it was not gonna be a walk over or got a big shock.
All through the series about Reid he has been warned about dipping his head unguarded, and that looked to be the weakness in his fight last night.

Funny to see Watson at the end saying how he was not tired at all..... Yeah right lol.
