FPR plumbing

just a quicky... does the vac line on the fpr run straight to the manifold?

first run after my re-build, its starts misfiring at around 3k, havnt been over that for running in reasons

i have a V2 WRX with parralel fueal rails, and SARD fpr set at 3.5 bar (both new after re-build)

cheers

fpr pipe

:(hi mate, fpr pipe runs direct to manifold, sounds like the usual coil pack issue might be causing a misfire then !:(

Have you defo got the FPR's feed port/s and tank return port hooked up correctly?

my94wrx 25 September 2010 03:11 PM

the fuel pressure is to high iirc it should be set at 3bar with the vacuum disconnected.

just thought... i put 95ron unleaded in it to get it home, out of my petrol mower gerry can... might be the reason

joz8968 25 September 2010 08:15 PM

Probably. How long has the petrol been in the can for? Could've gone stale and lost it's calorific value?

Clarkie GT 25 September 2010 10:51 PM

been in there for a few months... ill fill it up with V power or tesco super before i take it for its MOT

joz8968 25 September 2010 10:55 PM

Bound to be stale fuel - and what with it starting off as only 95 RON anyway............. ;)
