MTB XC Tyres.
Well I'm still running an old School Panaracer Dart on the front and a Ritchy Z max on the rear but both are due for a change. The question is what are you XC riders now using as I'm well out of touch with the modern choices.
Thanks. |
Maxis high rollers all day long on my xc bike, give me loads of grip and plenty of faith, much more than the specialised tyres on my dh bike which are getting changed to maxis minion dh tyres
|
I'll have a look at those.
So much choice these days:wonder: |
Panaracer Cinders are nice :) I'm running some Continental Rubber Queens at the moment, utterly superb :)
|
Stocked up on Panaracer Fire XC Pro when they were being replaced.
|
Nobby Nic (F) / Racing Raplh (R) combo on my hardtail at the moment. Can't remember what sizes - 2.25" I think.
Maxxis Rendez eXCeptions 2.1" 62a on my full-susser. |
Thanks guys, more here for me to check out. I take it these are all winter tyres.
|
I've got a pile of tyres in the garage but ICBA to change much these days.
I've had the Rendezs on all year round. Racing Ralph is a bit lightweight for winter use if there's much muck around. |
Was running Nobby Nics, cracking tyre but expensive and prone to punctures.
Now on Conti Verticals and they are superb, loads of grip! |
Had a look about and fancy the Panaracer fire xc, good deal on these at chain reaction at the mo as well:D
