Wossner pistons?

What are the opinions on the Wossner pistons & what sort of power are they good for? I'm under the impression that they are good for 600ish?

Thanks

I have used them a few times ( not in a scooby ) and found them very good

ive used them in a few cosworth yb engines and the appear to be a bit ratterly when cold and dont last as long a mahle etc type piston.seem good in a race engine as in my exsperiance they are only good for about 5000 road miles.the used to have strange tolarances on rebores as well

Speak to Enginetuner they are wossner dealers and use them in pretty much every build, a friend of mine who builds high spec big power VAG engines also uses wossner and has never come across any issues

5000 miles i have wossner pistons and rods and they are now 20000 miles in and still no rattlles on cold and yeah they are rated between 500- 600bhp but then it also depends on the mapping if you know what i mean

its all about the rebore and running in a and then let your engine warm up before ragging it

We actually mainly use Cosworth or Wiseco these days.
Nothing wrong with Wossner, but they decided to go high comp with the piston specs, and it isn't always appropriate.

I have noticed people have different opinions about the Wossner pistons. However they are highly rated on the Skyline forum & not so popular on passion ford.

A third party i spoke to mentioned that they are abit different to fit compared to other pistons hence why some dont last long?

Also what is the compression ratio on the Wossner compared to Cosworth & Wiseco?
