I really don't find them to hard, 5 layers of wheel sealent and then cleaned we'd evening quick wash with water, then normal the car gets washed Saturday. Not good if u don't like cleaning ur car lol

I hated the White wheels on my old blue scooby, I clean my cars at Least twice a week maybe sometimes more, and I found White wheels a right pain in the ass. I like my wheels to look clean and White wheels just got dirty within 2 miles of driving. My advice, see if you can borrow a set for a week and then make up your mind, lol

I use my car, and clean it for get togethers and shows, so it can be hard work. Also, when they were refurbished the rears were effectively oversprayed rather than properly painted so the matt effect means that there is more scope for dirt to accumulate and stick usually requiring clay or a mild cutting agent to clean them properly which is why they are such a PITA. Even sealant has limited effect. I plan to refurb them again, but this time I will specify that the rear faces are to be finished (preferably lacquered) to the same standard as the front faces.

Been a fan of white wheels for a while and I am seriuosly thinking of going down that road again.
Keeping them clean is a pain but loads of wax or brake dust repelant and you'll save some elbow grease. There's pictures of my Bugeye and Foggy STi in my pictures if you want a look or https://www.scoobynet.com/picture.ph...pictureid=5653 https://www.scoobynet.com/picture.ph...pictureid=5656 |
They do look nice but get covered in dust in 2 miles

Thanks for the pics everyone
The white wheels look good on the darker blue scoobs, cant decide on the WR blue ones. Have a wr blue hatch think it would look off with white wheels, might just stick with my gold prodrive gt1's |
