Sorry.........but i've made the walk of shame.......AND LOVE IT!!!!

Well guys, after many years of owning subaru's i suppose it was inevitable that one day it would happen. I have hung the subaru keys up, walked the walk of shame, reached out my hand and grabbed a set of keys that has the words every subaru owner is disgusted by.... "Mistubishi".

Yes, i'm now the proud owner of a rather nifty Evo 9 FQ340 with some nice mods to round it up to 400bhp. I've gotta say that i love the evo and (flame suit on) i must say the evo feels a far more capable car. although my love for subaru's will always be, i think the evo will be staying for a while.

I bought the car off a MLR member called EVO D, And all i can say is hats off to Dean, this is one well looked after Evo, the condition of this car is amazing. Dean would never take this car out in the rain and wanted for nothing. the car has only covered 23k and as you'd imagine is immaculate. Big thanx to Dean :smthumbup

The pics i've posted doesn't do the car justice, gonna try and get some better pics in the week and post up on the forum. here's a quick spec, not everything but what i can remember

Very nice mate,
Good choice going for the 9

JonMc 19 September 2010 08:35 PM

I'm not a big fan of the newer evos TBH, much preferred the 5 or 6, but if it makes you happy, it sure looks tidy enough:thumb:

Macca88 19 September 2010 08:37 PM

although this pains me to say, that car is gorgeous lovin all the carbo bits on it fella.

Razorwrx1 19 September 2010 08:37 PM

Gorgeous mate. I love the Evo 6. (T Reg) but it's looks a minter! Top spec n all. Least you didn't buy an MPV. Good luck with it bud!

SRSport 19 September 2010 08:47 PM

I think that is stunning. Although I prefer the look of the Imprezas that is a beaut. The best choice, the Evo9 in my opinion. How much did you pay for it if you dont mind me asking?

The Dogs B******s 19 September 2010 08:48 PM

Lovely looking car there but Evo's just don't do it for me :)

lloydee 20 September 2010 04:53 AM

Nice and a good spec as well.
I'm currently in the market for a 9 as well.

Would you mind telling me how much you paid for this, just want to know what sort of budget I'd need to make for a similar spec one with the mods.
PM me if you don't want to disclose it in public.

Steve_PPP 20 September 2010 08:34 AM

very nice! and the best colour i think :thumb:

nice brakes too :norty:

What fog lights, lol

hodgy0_2 20 September 2010 10:41 AM

sorry my mistake -- I thought the protusions on the front bumper, each side of the number plate were fog lights.

they must be driving lights or just air vents (having looked again) -- but still think they spoil the lines of the car.

they look a little "fussy"

Cheers bud:thumb:

Don't really miss the m3 as this car is soooooo much fun, but I definitely miss the luxury that the m3 gave you. I will probably go back to an m3 once I've had enough of the evo but that won't be anytime soon.

Tidgy 20 September 2010 12:34 PM

please allow the door to hit you in the arse on your way out, traitor,,,,,

seinet 20 September 2010 03:31 PM

can see the designers of the new 2011 scooby looked at evo and tryed to copy bits of it. failed to make it look nice. those designers should be torcherd. new scoobys have no soul. the new migan looks nice and they are propa ****.

K30FOY 20 September 2010 05:28 PM
