iPhone 4.1 update

Nice. My car stereo now works perfectly again with my 3GS.

As mentioned on here the scrolling of Albums or Artists was terribly slow but it's now back to lightning fast. As an aside the Album art is now displayed in higher resolution and I don't get the not supported message, even though the stereo is pre iPhone.

I also have a 3G here that I'm selling and that's a whole lot better as well.

Good work Apple.

Mine doesn't seem to work as well with my stereo since the update. it keeps cutting out. It's an Alpine IDAX100.

I only have one device on 4.1 and have not used it that much. Compatibility testing with our app does not show much speed increase on a 3G over 4.0.x

I have the same stereo, it didn't like the previous update at all but seems fine now. I had previously reset the stereo with a pin in the front prior to the update, maybe give that a go, you'll lose your presets though.

I'll give that a try, see if it fixes the problem. It's very annoying because I could be listening to a track and it cuts out with the message 'no USB device' .

It's a beta and only supports iPhone 3G and iPod Touch 2G at present. If you have an "MC" model of device you'll end up with a tethered JB.

I think I will wait and see what greenp0ison has to offer as that is said to be the JB for 4.1.

I'm just impressed that I can get it to work via VMWare running Mac OSX :)
