A little bird in the know tells me that the first press cars are in production at the moment. They are due for completion later this month.

I will let you know when I have more info.

Have you read the bit in evo this month about it - trouble with exhaust and wanting to get the mondeo/fiesta etc launches right because of ford's finances

Being more accurate (i have again spoken to me mate !!), car no. 1 is in production at the moment, and delivery for punters cars is expected late 2001 or possibly early 2002.

Good old Ford alright, they have had my deposit since Feb 01, I got an unfinalised spec sheet in january and still no price, only an estimate spanning £6K.
