engine flush?

Some engines are happy with flush this isn't one of them.
Engine design, you will have all that thinning agent left in your engine which in turn will decrease lubrication, especially to the bearings, and Subaru turbo engines are a little sensitive when it comes to their big end bearings, hence why it's not recommended

ok sound. Is there any way of cleaning engine with additives that you know of, or should i just drain old and add new?

drain the old and add new change the filter as well. If the new oil looks like ****e after a thousand or so miles then change it again - it is the best way to do it on an engine that does not like flushing treatments.

fookin excellent my thoughts exactly, just keep changing oil and filter till clear thanx. oh and by the way i will be changing to eneos 0w50 ( apparently made for this type of application ) any thoughts on this ? And ive already got it so its going in anyway lol

Yes, dont put it in, end of.
Scoobs are a little tempremental when it comes to oil, 0w oils are not recommended, depending on what your car is and what year, a 5w40 fully synthetic is more advisable, even a 10w40, depending on what your doing a 10w50 may be better, but a 0w50 :nono:
It could turn out to be very expensive for you :(

Generally on a third oil and filter change I will drain the oil and refil with a cheaper oil and let the engine idle for 10 minutes with the occasional throttle blip. Drain the oil if looking quite yuck fill repeat process. Drain oil replace filter and fill with good quality oil. Car on 101K with no issues.
