engine cutting out problem?

from time to time when i come to stop car revs go so low that car nearly cuts out? any ideas on what it could be??

idle control valve? never had it myself but i remember a thread about cleaning it

thats what i thought it would be had same problem on my missis old escort, just unplugged it and it was fine lol
