V3 STI Turbo ECU
 

At the moment I am running a WRX V2 Limited Edition saloon,but looking to sell to buy a V3 STI WAGON.If anyone could tell me what turbo and ecu the V3 STI saloon run I would be very greatful so I could upgrade to these,then save up for a simtek cheers.

Think the v.3 STi saloon's turbo is a VF23. But the v.3 Wagon STi will run the same turbo anyway, I believe. If not then it'll be the slightly smaller VF24 - not much between them power/torque wise, regardless.

Not sure on that model's ECU code though.

So pretty certain you shouldn't need to do any upgrading...

Yes, that's right - sorry totally overlooked that :cuckoo:. The ECU will be controlling the wagon's lower boost level, hence 40PS less.

So you would need to swap to the v.3 STi saloon's ECU - so long as they do indeed run the same turbo, that is. If turbo's are different, then you're right, would have to swap both ECU AND turbo...
