WMI @ ESC Essex Tunnel Run 13/11/10
 

Hey guys, the date for this years Essex Tunnel Run has now been announced as

Saturday 13th November.

Myself and many others consider this to be the event of the year, due to the amount of attendees and the quality of the tunnels and route.

Last year had over 200 Subaru's from all over the country in attendance! Last year's Essex Tunnel Run also took place just a little over a month after West Mids Impreza's was started by H, and a handful of us made the trip down there...

This year though let's smash that and get a big good old fashioned West Mids Impreza's convoy together!



CONVOY MEETING AT STECHFORD RETAIL PARK MCDONALDS (B33 9AN) @ 1:00PM

WE WILL BE STOPPING AT THE FOLLOWING SERVICE STATIONS ON THE WAY DOWN, ARRIVING AT THURROCK SERVICES FOR 8:00-8:30PM:

Corley (M6 Junction 3-4 - CV7 8NR) ***SHELL PETROL***

Newport Pagnell (M1 Junction 14-15 - MK16 8DS) ***SHELL PETROL***

Toddington (M1 Junction 11-12 - LU5 6HR)

South Mimms (M25 Junction 23 - RM16 3BG)

Thurrock (M25 Junction 30 - RM16 3BG)



Please be advised to fill up your tank (with V-Power if required) before we begin the journey, as well as perfoming all the "usual" checks on your car; oil and other fluids, tyre pressures, lights etc etc. It's also very likely to be very cold so bring appropriate gear with you (or if your Wazo, a vest and shorts lol). Bringing snacks and drinks is always a good idea too

For those with CB, I believe we are going to be using channel 18 (), make sure your aerial is attached 100%

I've been told there is a fair amount of road works (for a change) on some stretches of the motorway route so be mindful - especially of average speed camera's.
