yeah should be a straight fit as far as im aware as i have 2004wrx and the exhaust system is just the same as what fits yours

just double checked and it will defo fit 2.5's aswell

also how loud is it

its 2.5" and not to loud on driving and on motorways quite quiet but if you put your foot down it does become loud
