looks like someone has been hard at work with the photoshop package

Thats about 257km/h by my calcs... I REALLY hope you wern´t the one taking this pic. If you were you need your skull re-adjusted.

And... at what level have you got your light warning set at?? I thought it stayed on once you pass the limit??! No pink light I can see?

Still, be bloody careful m8, only some roads are TRUELY open limits, they are the ones with the little cirle with a line through the centre at a diagonal. All other autobahns are either 120 or 130. Many do silly speeds, but if a cop is feeling particularly nasty, he will do you for it. Public holidays especially... There is a nice piece of road 40km long - dead straight heading from Stuttgart to Munich that is open. Very fast through there - and people do it :D

Let me know if you come across a TT wanting a go at you.. happened to us over the weekend - scary when he leaves you from 140... :(

Awesome!
What did you top out at?

Joseph 04 April 2002 02:08 PM

It's coming up for 13 months old.
First in the country Jap spec Warrender 320bhp.
It could have done a lot more in terms of speed but my nuts were so far up my throat I was finding it difficult to breath.
Reckon 175 mph.
J.
Knowlesy how would you photoshop that then?
I have the buzzer and light set to 7200rpm so there.

Joseph 04 April 2002 02:13 PM

Daz it's difficult enough looking ahead at these speeds without looking at the clocks.

But I managed 170 with revs to spare.
according to the gearing it could do 190+ if it all conditions were right but I think it will top out at 180 as it is as aerodynamic as a brick.
