I have posted this on the insurance board but have not got a bloody answer yet......

So, what makes a car qualify for classic insurance?

It must be at least 10 years old.

And you should get a good deal if you declare a limited annual mileage e.g. 3000 or 5000 miles per year. I had a monster 5.4 litre straight 8 1948 Daimler which cost me £58 per annum for 3000 miles pa fully comp and with one named driver. Some insurers will want the car independently valued. Any of the Classic Car mags will be full of ads for suitable companies. DL

I've got a e30 m3 which should qualify for classic insurance then.
Time to see how stitched up i can get again..........
Can anyone give me some good insurers to call???
