As title, really. What do Ralliart do to an Evo-6 to make it into an Evo-6 Mak edition? Is it just cosmetics or are there performance mods, too?
Thanks in advance, Richard. |
Redesigned front spoiler and airdam provides cooler air to intercooler, tuned suspension, turbo with smaller wheel diameter and redesigned blades to improve response and low-mid range torque, larger intercooler, exhaust upgrade, Red Recaros with Makinen logo, leather gear knob, red stitching on gear knob and steering wheel, rally decals, different rear spoiler, different wheels, 2 airbags.

Not too sure about the 2 airbags bit, as the normal GSR has 2 airbags also.Tomimak `s Tuned suspension are actually upside down shockers on the front, just like modern day jap superbikes :)

I believe that they also up the boost on the Mak edition compared to the GSR. Den |
Oh dear. That sounds rather good, doesn't it... :D Only dreaming!
Very many thanks for the advice, guys, Richard. |
The Mak doesnot had uprated boost, but it does have titanium Turbo blades, so it spools up faster, less lag, not that the GSR has much lag anyway that is..

Ok, so when my mate had the boost uprated at the first service (by Ralliart) after the initial pickup of the car - I must have been imagining it. ;)
I have vague recollections of the boost being uprated to 3.2 but I can check with my mate. They did not want to up the boost straightaway but wanted my mate to do the runin period first before they upped it. Den |
didn't they have ceramic turbos too
