Front lip spoiler for STI hatch

Hi,

Anybody tell me where I can get a Front lip spoiler for a hatch STI (2008 onwards) from? One on ebay for £150, In America they seem to do them a lot cheaper but postage is a killer! Looking for a plastic one really, Revolution do a fibre glass one. Anybody know of other manufacturers?

Thanks Vince

Thats the thing, American price £61.26 +£83.83 postage, uk price £149 + £8.95 postage. I'd prefer to buy British but not at that premium!

That was for the urathane one the flexi plastic type, but at the time no-one else was making them or had a mould for them in the uk so I had no choice, It was either that or buy a subaru one for £300 + lol

Vince, good to see you Friday, car was looking very shiney!

Heres a couple of pics of my US one as it was probably a little dark the other day, highly recomend the flexy plastic type as they are a little forgiving, had a hard Scott Lowe one on the Hawk, looked amazing but Kerbs were its enemy!

Hi Arron, it was good to see you also. Have you got fed up with cleaning the new wheels yet lol! Lots of spokes! Your car was looking very clean also. I cleaned mine before I went to the meet, it was pretty dirty and I didn't want to let the hatches down! The red stripe on the side of your grill is a nice touch.

Hi Scooby L, HT's is the one on ebay for £149. I might have to bite the bullet and get it but it's a bit of a bitter pill to swallow when you can get them in the states for £61. I guess it will be the Christmas present from the girlfriend! She always moans she doesn't have anything to buy me as if I want something I always just go out and buy it! funds permitting!

Whatever you do dont buy the revolution one, you will still be waiting for it this time next year!

Well I bought the one from HT auto's £149 delivered, ordered off of their web site and saved the postage costs over ordering off of ebay. Arrived quickly and well packaged. Relatively easy to fit, just drill the holes and screw on. Bolts would be a better option than the self tapping screws in my opinion. The fit is reasonable although it took about a day with some fine fettleing to get it lined up properly! Having done it once I could reduce that time radically now! I'm still not sure how the cost is justified (especially when you look at the American prices) but cheaper than Subaru. The car is now finished except for perhaps a boost gauge! But where to mount it and do you really need one?
