ADVERTS: For Sale? Wanted? Whats it Worth? Gauging Interest? You need to Pay!

Hello Everyone.

Apologies for the blunt title, but it is intended to draw attention to our changes in rules regarding advertising any items for sale or wanted. These rules have been implemented after the reoccurring issues regarding users who are dishonest, operating scams, committing fraud or evading paying the fees required to advertise here.

To sum up, if you want to sell anything or post a wanted advert, you need to be a paying member of scoobynet. ( Click here for payment info). Further information can be found in the following threads located in the news and announcement section: HERE and HERE.

"Whats it Worth" and "Gauging Interest" threads created by non-paying members are also not allowed as these are commonly used excuses to avoid paying forum fees.

Any threads by non-paying members posting sales or wanted threads outside the market place section (found towards the bottom of the main forum listing: HERE) will have their threads deleted without notification. Paying members posting outside of the market place will either have their thread removed or moved to correct section. Also, users selling as a business or as part of a regular income on a profit making basis need to contact the webmaster before creating any adverts. Please see our buying/selling rules for further information: https://www.scoobynet.com/subaru-par...nd-advice.html

Please be aware dishonest people and fraudsters will still operate and try to encourage transactions via the private mail system. If you proceed with such a transaction you will do this at your own risk and we cannot help if you become another victim. As a further safeguard, never use the gift option when making transactions via Paypal as you will lose any right in getting money back should the transaction go awry. Also be aware of stalling tactics; You have 45days from the point of paying to file a dispute with Paypal.

As a final request, please make use of the iTrader feedback system whenever you make a transaction between another Scoobynet member (How To Use iTrader) As this will aid others to verify if a user is bonafide, and I'm sure the other party will appreciate any good feedback.

Regards

AL
