Hi Ian you have PM.

Cannon Fodder 09 August 2010 06:26 PM

Jarvis, would you compare the Fiats of yesteryear to the ones that are currently on sale now - the old ones were rusty heaps of cr@p and the new ones are really good cars. :wonder:

Please 401 will you leave this thread to what it was intended for, its not a chat site for disgruntled people, start a new thread about dogs if you wish , we want an intelligent review of NEW materials on this thread and if you havent tried them and dont have a comment relevelant PLEASE post your chat somewhere else.

If you had contacted our tech or me personally years ago instead of holding a grudge we would have sorted you out but to begin with you should not have EVER been running Greens on an Impreza, whoever told you that was a bad vendor, we NEVER fit greens to Impreza. Greens are for Novas and Clios and stuff.

I challenge you 401 to stop moaning and give me make model and year and an address and I will convert you to EBC new generation pads in a week. You will love them, you will have a faster and safer car and you will be a convert.

Please dont be a dinosaur now get me that address and model and lets do something progressive here matey

Cheers;)

Andy, I am quite happy to take Jarvis (Scooby401) out in my car and give him a practical demonstration of the Bluestuff pads if he wants to see how the EBC product has improved. :)

DYL 4N 09 August 2010 09:40 PM

And if he still don't want um I'll take um. Can't see why not if they can stop a new age as they did in tyrons car they will rip my eyes out in my RA.

Great product and you can't ask for a better service.

Well done Andy.

172 I need more info, year, WRX or Sti base, engine size and if Brembo front or rear.

On rears tell me if REAR pads are

1) Retained at top with two "Through" pins
2) Have ears that project our at left and right pad flanks
3) Have square sided slots or channels in pad left and right flank

Then we will, sort you some pads out my man

Better still go online to www.ebcbrakes.com, look up the pdf catalog download and see the pictures at the end of the section which tell all.

here is the direct link

http://www.ebcbrakes.com/Assets/EBC_..._Catalogue.pdf

Insert page 337 in the top box for what page number

Cheers

WELL DONE Gareth 401 :luxhello:

You had a bad experience years ago with EBC and instead of moaning you have agreed to test our new stuff and we welcome your honest feedback here.

Bluestuff pads will be with you in 7-8 days

Its fully understood that in years gone by maybe the EBC product needed to be a bit better for the very quick guys as on this site and we were perhaps slow in getting there but WE ARETHERE NOW and I think all users will agree. So far not ONE driver has been able to find a fault with our new products on this test and it is way over 100 USA drivers in the SCCA, 26 on Pistonheads and 45 now on scoobynet.

Thanks to all for being realistic and joining in the test so that EBC can move forward and be a better vendor

Long live British manufactruring (which is where 100% of our pads are made by the way)

Cheers
