i have an afterburner vortex with a decat downpipe and i can almost have a whispered conversation sometimes(depends on revs). not stupidly loud when cruising or motorway and loud and deep when on full throttle, sounds perfect. it is also made for scoobyworld by hayward and scott

If you fit the bung and don't rag the car then it will be fine,Interesting that people who have an afterburner vortex say it is not loud .Sorry a prodrive system ain't loud and a vortex is a lot lot louder than a prodrive backbox - which is why Scoobyworld offer a bung and say : not for normal road use:wonder:. I had a vortex and do not suffer with headaches or hangovers or migraines, but after having my car mapped by bob and a 65 return trip down the m40 , my head was booming. I bought the bung shortly after and this worked for me as most of my neighbours are 60+ and I have an old folks home opposite me.I would put the bung in 1st thing in the morning and last thing at night, if you want a quieter system than a blitz that's not gonna lose all of your exhaust note try Haywood and Scott or a ninja 2,or a scoobysport - all good exhaust IMHO and not as loud as a blitz/vortex .

I've got a Scorpion on mine, sounds awesome without being too intrusive, still has a nice deep tone though.:thumb:

weird that. before i bought my vortex. people said it gave them headaches etc. i dont think its loud when cruising but when you start it first thing in the morning and when your ragging, all hell breaks loose. maybe their quieter on newages.

go for the bung

and remove the radio, who wants to listen to a radio when you can hear the rumble of a flat four and a blitz ...lol

I have a TSL group n exhaust and its just perfect for my taste both in looks and sound. Not too loud until you boot it and good when cruising at say 70 on the motorway.

Keep the exhaust and get some additional sound proofing! :thumb:

My brother has this in his scoob and it's so quiet inside. It's on my "to-do" list. :D

I have a afterburner Vortex with the resonated centre section. And its great its not to bad but sounds great when you give it some beans.

It has a lovely rumble. And have no trouble chatting, though the only problem I have is the lack of girls I get in the car lol.
