Help on choosing Family diesel please.

Any advice/experience appreciated on below cars: :)

End of this year or early next year looking to sell my mint 2003 E46 330d for something newer; with a bigger boot space; a little more cabin space & most importantly a lot better mpg. Currently the 330d auto does approx 27mpg in town & about 39mpg on the motorway. Most of our driving is town & a bit of motorway. Iv still got my Type R for my adrenaline fix so not bothered about power so much!

Budget is approx £20k max & ideally no more than 2 years old, low mileage, has to be Auto with all the gadgets inc leathers & stanav, ideally top spec in that engine.

Cars I have thought of, below are in order of current preference, which funnily enough seems to change on a weekly basis!!!

1) 2008 BMW 520d Saloon Msport Step Auto
2) 2009 Audi A6 Saloon (facelift) 2.0tdle S line Auto
3) 2009 Honda Accord Tourer 2.2 dtec ES-Gt Auto

Help:wonder: :D

Go with option 1)

I prefer big engines and non "shouty" (i.e. M Sport or S-Line) looks but that's just me.

Current ED 530d will be a fair bit better on fuel than your 330d.

The Audi A6 is totally outclassed by the 5 series.

How about a Skoda Superb TDI 170 DSG? They`re supposed to be very good and come completely loaded at the top of the range. They`re massive as well.

Try one before you dismiss it.
