Novice question...
 

Hi,

my STi arrives tomorrow and the existing car goes, so all change. I am already thinking about how to increase the performance!

I have been reading quite a bit about removing cats (which I assume are the cats in the exhaust) and remapping.

I understand what this is but my question is will the car still pass an MOT if I do this?

if you completly remove the cats,then no mate it wont pass an mot,you need a sport cat like a 100 cell type

and the hardcore fit equal length headers as well ! You loose some of the burble though
