AP racing 6 pots 355 vs 335mm

Are the calipers different on those or is it just the disc and bracket that is different ?
What i need to know is, if i get the calipers for 355mm disc, can i use them with a 330mm disc ?
I really dont want to upgrade to 18" wheels

The calipers are different. I've had the 362mm and the caliper is the same as the 355mm just a bigger disc and pad. Both of these setup require 182 alloys where as the 335 fits under the 17" alloy.

Do these not go from 28mm to 32mm width? hence the different calipers?

Tony:)

355mm will need 18" alloys. 335mm will fit under 17" (just about)

is that 335 with 17s or 355 with 18s

just be carefull even with the 335's on 17's, some might not fit depending on the profile of the wheel.

356mm and 362mm setups used the CP7040 caliper. Both run discs that are 32mm thick

335mm setups use the CP5570 caliper these run the 28mm thick discs.

Hope that helps

and from what i learnt when looking into it the cp5570 is better suited for the classic the cp7040 is for the newage car, although it can be fitted to the classic the cp5570 is the one to go for

I find that the bigger set-up stops a 600 bhp STI adequately....

Mine has a lot less, and the smaller set-up is fine for my bug-eye.

Ian it was just what I was informed / read as such, I will have to have a hunt around and try and dig it out. Not wanting to get in a bum fight though lol as I know you know your stuff on this subject and if I have been miss informed then fair play.

I will have a hunt at work if I get the chance
