Where do you buy HKS SSQV BOV adapters ?
Iv decided on getting a HKS SSQV BOV but going by the pictures you need an adapter , iv looked round the internet but cant find any , i know they exist as theres some on really old for sale threads from the US , I also read something about using the standard re-circulating BOV fittings to attach it , Does anyone know how to do that or where to buy an adapter ?

Hi,
What year car? If it`s a newage its this one, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/02-UP...Q5fAccessories If its a classic i think the one thats in the box will do but not 100% :thumb: |
Thanks ,
Its for a 03 Blob Eye , I found this one in the UK but it dosnt mention HKS : http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SUBARU-IMPREZA...item1e5d521f0c |
That one wont fit, It has to have a circlip attatchment not a screw in one, Cheapest one i found is the one i`v posted but it`s in the states, I ordered one a while back and took about 10 days to arrive, Decent quality too for about £20 all in.

Much appreciated , Did you notice any difference petrol wise ?
|
Not a great deal really, Depends on how you drive it, Does use slightly more though
|
Thanks again , Iv ordered that one of ebay and my nice new HKS SSQV 3 , only other thing i need is the bung to block off the old tube , Do you know where i can get one ?
|
|
Thanks :) Ordered that as well , But oh crap iv just found that the person i bought the HKS from is from Lithuania :brickwall , Hopefully when it arrives it will be genuine !

Well it came today , Not very impressed with the noise tbh as it only goes of when you give it some , but theres bigger issues -
The pipe that clips onto the valve is too slack , Iv tried to put cable ties on to hold it in place for now but its no long term solution , What have you guys done with yours ?

Yeah ..... That was the wrong one , £7.99 wasted Anyone know the correct sized bung ? |
Sorry mate, that was the link from the 1st bung that I ordered and it was to small- sorry :(, however if you get some black insulation tape and wrap it around the bung securely then you need to use a jubilee clip to secure it, not cable ties :nono:. The correct size bung is 33 mm , if you have no joy in securing the one you've ordered, pm me and I will send you one I have. :thumb:
