Gearknob removal
 

Tried turning it but nothing happens,is it a case of just pulling ? The car is an 04WRX Blobeye .:confused:

The thread used for the gear knob is very fine so you will need to do a lot of unscrewing to remove it - just keep going. Once it is detached from the gear shifter it will still be attached to the gaiter, to detach it simply hold the gaiter in one hand and the gear knob in the other and pull the gear knob sideways and it will just pop off with little effort.
