Judder on boost?

im gettin juddering on full boost, sort of like misfiring. doesnt happen whilst driving steady. anyone know the cause?

running to much boost. does it feel like its holding back when the boost comes on fully?

I get this also.

I did think is it DET.

I had mine remapped not to long ago but whether was so hot that couldn't do much , but did say it will run more boost when colder, so think maybe its trying to over boost now.

I'd like to find out as well on this.

To the OP i say, plugs, coil packs and or leads, check/replace and gap plugs to 0.8mm:thumb:

Mrchips, you should contact your mapper:thumb:

:nono:

correct gap is 0.65mm

0.8mm causes misfire

its been running fine for years. it has 4 boost settings though an apexi ecu and im running it on the lowest. spark gaps sound more likely as i have recently replaced them

0.65 on 7's is good, 0.8 recommended for 6's in a standard motor:thumb:
