That's only 21 Seconds off the Hawkeye Spec C Type RA record lap!! Not bad going in a fairly standard Blob WRX

mantazini 25 July 2010 05:01 PM

Just found these to compare with your lap times guys....and it seems to me that some of you guys must be pro racing drivers.....NOT!!!! Times like early 8's can be achieved without traffics etc., Any data or videos to prove would be nice to see.

No offence , but i just don't believe some of you.. :Whatever_

Big fud, your times are actually the most realistic. From my experience most of amateur , enthusiast times with road cars are midd - late 8's - early 9's.

B0DSKI 25 July 2010 07:50 PM

Have to agree with Mantazini. Especially the 8min 20 in a pretty standard 53 reg WRX. Even bridge to gantry that's hard to belive

Stevesbluewrx 25 July 2010 08:00 PM

I for one would love to have the bollocks to even go round the ring. I don't know the layout like most but my main concern is stacking the car.

Steve

GC8 25 July 2010 09:22 PM

Some times here should be prefixed "once upon a time, in a land far, far away...".

I did what felt like an 8'20" in a 1,600cc charity rally Felicia, two-up with about 100kgs of luggage: with an accident at Wipperman - but it was actually 13:10 BtG.

Yes this is what ive found over the past 3 years any one with low 8s there was people who had done 3-4-500 laps and are in 996 gtrs m3 csl ect no 03 wrx .To be honest there is not many who film there laps so 80% are guessing.Ive done 65 laps now from 6 visits and never in the same car which is not a shock to most who know me lol.

Anger 25 July 2010 11:13 PM

Only timed one lap, that was 10 mins 50 on a wet lap and i had a couple of scary moments

Wasnt really bothered about times as i knew the more i looked at my times, the more chance i'd over do it and come back without my scoob lol

Ive never really been a track driver, but have now booked a few trackdays with tuition to help me try to get the best out of the car

James :)

Woke up and got out of bed and had my breakfast lol.

Ali M 28 August 2010 12:17 PM

Well I suppose its just as well I had the camera in the car then

Vid is on my laptop, could post up later tonight after I upload it.

I made a big mistake at kink before MHM which I was lucky to get away with.

Never been in or seen a 20g car but for the power they seem to make, would have thought they could go a bit quicker than that.

This is a stock TD04 turbo and this was done on stock 4 pot brakes. BC racing coilovers only mods to suspension.

BTW, not everyone speaks BS ;)
