rear lambda delete/engine light
 

i have a 2002 wrx,heavily modded,no rear lambda-now my front one is u/s and i"m gonna replace it-if i fed the rear lambda the same signal as the front/up pipe one[as i"m gonna be at it anyway] would this work or cause issues
is there a proper fix out for this-on std ecu[ecuteked]

did you get a remap when you modded it mate as the mapper should be able to turn the rear one off

was done by a well known mapper,but over two years ago[maybe the fix wasnt available then]
might get him to do just that if he can...cheers

do you know if my idea would work...and can you get switchable maps on the 2002 uk cars ecu[wrx] now?

P0420 CEL (missing cat) could be switched off by EcuTeK at least 8 years ago........that's when Bob Rawle sorted mine :)

Two maps on the Denso Bugeye ECU is a bit tricky, EcuTeK can run a low boost map activated by rear screen demister and full throttle........I hear Open Source can run two maps on the early Denso ECU.

For Open source stuff I'd think about Race Dynamix (duncan) ..

Mine was turned off by andy f when i deacatted and i have the switchable boost using the demister

ahh,thanks...it runs meth plus mix-but i want a v.power map too
quite wiling to swap ecus around when changing fuel,but there is grief with immobilisers and the like
switching maps would be great but want to stay o/e for knock control
edited to add it was andy who did this also-will double check its not already had delete after i fit new front sensor and clear codes

avcr does boost-2.1 bar or 1.5
